On October 19th, the Kerry Association in Dublin hosted their 70th Oíche Chiarraí, where our founder Louise Quill was honoured as Kerry Person of the Year.

The award recognises Louise’s two decades of dedication to Tanzania’s most vulnerable children, from founding Tír na nÓg in 2006 to the opening of our purpose-built Children’s Village. Everyone at Tír na nÓg, in Ireland and in Tanzania, is enormously proud.

Congratulations Louise, and thank you to the Kerry Association for this wonderful recognition.
